Ogden’s Historic 25th Street is a unique and interesting place. It’s the perfect mix of wild history and current day charm. While some of the buildings along this stretch of road are new, most date back to the late 1800’s and have over a century of history in them. What might be a restaurant now was at one time home to a brothel, and a book store was once a wild and maybe even dangerous saloon.

Not only does 25th Street have amazing history, it has its fair share of spooky locations with their own haunted histories to tell. Capping each end of Historic 25th Street is the Union Station and the Bigelow Hotel. Some might argue two of the most haunted locations in the entire state of Utah.

Ogden History Tours offers guided walking tours for a variety of tastes and interests, both spooky and non-spooky alike. Whether you want to learn about what various buildings were back when Two-Bit Street was hustling and bustling with cattlemen and thousands of train passengers, Electric Alley, Ogden’s legal (at one time) red-light district, or the spooky tales of 25th Street’s haunted locations we offer something for everyone.

Let us take you back in time and provide you with a unique perspective of Ogden’s history!

Meet The Guides

Husband and wife team Jennifer and Matt Jones have called Ogden home for the last few years.

Jennifer has been active in the paranormal field in Utah since 2007, and has been researching the history behind spooky stories and urban legends with her blog, The Dead History, since 2012.

She has also covered many of Ogden’s great haunted locations in her recent book, Ghosts of Ogden, Brigham City, and Logan.

So pick a tour (or try all of them) and let Matt and Jen show you a side of Ogden you haven’t seen before.

You won’t hear regurgitated generic stories on these tours, but real encounters with the paranormal, and the true history behind each location. You might be shocked to learn that the true stories are often much more interesting!
